My name is second lieutenant Pastuszka and I am a LiaisoN Officer from C2 ISTAR group. The purpose of my briefing is to make you acquainted with the current Structure and Capabilities of C2 ISTAR element.

The manning list for exercise Little Eagle 15 need to be a little reorganized due to the fact that cpt Klimaszewski and Ziobro

wont be able to take part in the exercise moreover there will be another officer probably second lieutenant Siwiec but this information is not confirmed

As you can see on the slide two officers from 9 RR have been designated to G2 cell and one probably to G C2 ISTAR ELEMENT for exercise Compact Eagle 15 consists of command group and two sections.

collection, coordination, information requirements management section is an essential element of the group,

,

responsible for the distribution of recce information and direct management of the assigned reconnaissance forces, subordinate to commander, according with information collection plan

,

PRODUCTION is a cell, responsible for collection and analysis of the facts (information) about the enemy, area of operation and activity in the area of responsibility and the risk assessment for the current operations.

ISTAR links intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance systems and sensors to cue manoeuvre and offensive strike assets, with particular emphasis on the timely passage of both critical and targeting information.

It encompasses the collection, coordination and management of information and intelligence. Situational awareness provided by tailored ISTAR capabilities are fundamental to good decision-making.

C2 ISTAR element is subordinated to G2 and cooperates closely s with Information Dominance Center. The C2 ISTAR coordinates all Field HQ owned ISTAR assets based on the Intelligence Collection Plans which is formulated by the Information Dominance Center

reflecting the Commanders Prioritized Information Requirements. The C2 ISTAR element analyzes the raw material, fuse the information to intelligence and report to the IDC and G2 and of course to the the Commander.

LRR coy consists of command group and 3 long recce groups each group consist of 3 long recce sections COY is equipped with 9 Lightly armed vehicles HONKER SKORPION

and 9 quads besides there are 3 command vehicle and 2 trucks soldiers are armed with rifles there is also one MG in each recce sections

LRR COY combat capabilities are presented on the slide. COY can operate up to 150 km in enemy forces area.

HUMINT GROUP consists of command group and 3 tactical humint teams each teams consist of 2 humint sections humint sections are equipped with 6 High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle

moreover group has 6 command vehicle honker and 1 truck soldiers are armed with beryl rifles there is also one MG in each humint sections

humint activity is conducted in own forces rear area.

ELECTRONIC WARFARE COY consists of command group and 4 platoons and has to cover the capabilities of Searching, Intercepting, Direction finding, and Jamming.

UAV SQUADRON comprises command group and three platoons each of one areostar platform plus two ground control stations, communications relay equipment and systems to perform take-off and landing.
