Preposition

Preposition is defined as a connection between words in a sentence which links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence. Prepositions work with other words in prepositional phrases which usually indicates where, how or when the action in the sentence tool place. According to other logical usage of grammar, they can be arranged as simple prepositions, compound prepositions, phrasal prepositions, participle prepositions, or double prepositions. Prepositions are hard for most users because they are hardly any rules as to when to use which preposition. The only way to learn prepositions is looking them up in a dictionary, reading a lot in English and memorizing useful phrases. Let’s start to learn it through this lesson
